Capacity Building Grant: Received!

Hello LSC community! The winter feels longer and colder this year, but we are thrilled to share some big news today…

We were notified that we have received a $5,000 grant from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation Arts and Culture Initiative! This grant is for capacity building and general operating support that will help us expand our music education classes and studio programs for artists in Rochester NY. The Local Sound Collaborative is so grateful for our community partners at the Rochester Area Community Foundation for allowing us this incredible opportunity to level up our impact.

With every dollar our small but mighty organization receives, more kids and musicians are afforded the ability to succeed and thrive in music. This grant is a symbol of a city and region that believes in the power of the arts - and it what inevitably provides for our world.

People are healthier, happier, and more successful when we give them the chance to experience music. Our deepest gratitude for all of the folks at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr Foundation for giving us this wonderful support.

Here’s to achieiving new heights in 2025!
